Life, Still - Sparkfest

Written by Jayne Woodhouse

Produced by Greedy Pig Theatre Company

Sarah's mother was one of the first Watchers. It's been years since they took her away and now Sarah is out for revenge.

Part 2 of Life, Still - When things started changing, nobody did anything. No riots, no protests, nothing. But how long could this last? In a society built on a rigid class system, where people are ranked from Class A to Class Z, these three original plays question the length that ordinary people will go to when faced with a life they no longer feel a part of.

Genres/themes: Drama, Play, Dystopia

Epic transitions paired with stark lighting flashes really gives you a pain-stricken “other-worldly” feel, beautifully accompanied by a live cellist which adds another touch of live drama to the piece. As a whole, I was impressed by Greedy Pig Theatre Company’s first production.
